ISN Hosts Australia Contractor Usability Group Meeting
ISN hosted a Australia Contractor Usability Group (CUG) Meeting in Perth, WA on October 14, 2014. Twelve individuals from nine contractor companies attended the meeting to provide feedback on a variety of tools available for contractor customers within ISNetworld.
Companies of various sizes and levels of user experience heard from ISN’s Usability, Health and Safety and Contractor Outreach teams regarding completed and upcoming updates included in ISNetworld 11.0. Attendees also participated in usability testing on new functionality while meeting one-on-one with an ISN representative.
“The goal of the CUG meetings is to gather feedback to ensure ISNetworld is user-friendly and intuitive,” said Brent Ross, Senior Manager, ISN Contractor Outreach. “The completed ISNetworld updates were well received by attendees. We were also pleased to collect valuable feedback and suggestions on items that can potentially be implemented in the future.”
Introduced in 2010, the Contractor Usability Group was created to provide a forum for contractors to share best practices and serve as an industry voice for their peers. Since then, nine meetings have been held in both the United States and Canada with 54 companies participating in the group.
“Our contractors are an invaluable resource,” said Jenny Buckley, Senior Manager, ISN Australia. “Without their support, commitment and feedback, we would not be able to continually enhance the ISNetworld platform which directly impacts our entire Hiring Client and contractor customer base.
