Toyota’s Growing North American Operations Prompt Partnership With ISN
“Toyota is committed to implementing proactive systems to protect our workers and contractors. We believe ISN is a very effective and efficient way to maintain our high safety standards.”
-Todd Mills, TEMA Manager of Safety
Toyota Motor Engineering & Manufacturing North America (TEMA) has partnered with ISN to optimize its health and safety performance in the United States, Canada and Mexico. TEMA will begin implementation of ISNetworld to manage contractor safety information for its Erlanger, Kentucky headquarters’ construction contractors, with plans to subsequently phase in contractors who work across their 18 North American vehicle manufacturing, powertrain manufacturing, casting plants and R&D sites.
Toyota joins over 300 Owner Client companies from around the world that use ISNetworld, the leading global contractor and supplier information management database provided by ISN. ISNetworld will be a key component of Toyota’s continuous efforts to improve contractor operations through its review and verification of critical health and safety information.
“We are pleased to work with Toyota as they invest in their North American operations,” said Kim Holly, ISN Manufacturing Team Manager. “We look forward to helping them maintain their commitment to site safety and streamline their contractor management processes as they grow and diversify production.”
