Apache Corporation Expands Use of ISN Across Continents
“Since Apache employs hundreds of service providers across the region, the development of a robust assurance system is extremely important to us. We have implemented the ISN system to verify the adequacy of our contractors’ own safety programs and to ensure that our contractors are meeting performance expectations.”
-Alistair McGregor, Regional Supply Chain Manager, Apache Energy Limited
Apache Energy Limited and Apache Corporation (Apache) have selected ISN to assist with contractor performance management across its Australia and United States onshore operations. Both regions will utilize ISNetworld to manage contractor health, safety and environmental information to enrich their safety operations.
Apache Energy Limited’s holdings in Australia are focused in the Carnarvon Basin off the coast of Western Australia, which includes 35 exploration permits, 16 production licenses and 10 retention leases. Apache’s onshore operations consist of four separate units across the United States: the Gulf Coast, Permian Basin, Central U.S. and New Ventures.
With the U.S. onshore implementation, Apache joins 45 upstream industry peers that use ISNetworld for their contractor qualification process. “Having a streamlined system across the industry improves contractor compliance and performance,” said Marie Anderson, Manager, ISN Upstream. “This synergy allows Apache to identify and connect with contractors in ISNetworld that have proven safety records.”
“Apache’s Australia Region and all of our North America Regions now use ISN as a tool for selecting and managing our service providers,” said John C. Williams, Director of Global Health, Safety and Emergency Response, Apache Corporation. “Apache is committed to safe and environmentally sound operations and the ISN system supports that goal by making our contractor evaluation and selection process easily accessible across our organization.”
“We are pleased to expand our existing partnership with Apache Canada and Gulf of Mexico Regions,” said Jenny Buckley, Manager, ISN Australia. “We welcome the Australia and U.S. onshore operations, and look forward to further cultivating our relationship with Apache and their contractors.”
